How to Make Spicy Grilled Shrimp


Ingredients:

  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 lbs colossal shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 wedges lemon, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Gather the ingredients. Light a grill for indirect medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, use the tines of 2 forks to crush garlic and salt together; add herbs.
  3. Mix in paprika and cayenne. Add olive oil and lemon juice until blend forms a paste.
  4. In a bowl, combine garlic paste and shrimp together until the shrimps are fully covered.
  5. Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill shrimp, turning once and grilling until it is opaque throughout- about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  6. Plate on a serving dish, garnish with some lemon wedges and serve.
