How to Make Shrimp Alfredo
Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley, fresh and minced, to garnish
Directions:
- Prepare fettuccine pasta as per package instructions, keep aside.
- Place olive oil in a large skillet, and heat over medium. Throw in the crushed garlic and cook till fragrant.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper then add them to skillet. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, for about 3 – 4 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream, and simmer. Reduce the heat and whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
- Blend the sauce with the cooked fettuccine and make certain it gets to every piece.
- Taste, add seasoning if necessary and serve hot with parsley.
