How to Make Shrimp Alfredo


Ingredients:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley, fresh and minced, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Prepare fettuccine pasta as per package instructions, keep aside.
  2. Place olive oil in a large skillet, and heat over medium. Throw in the crushed garlic and cook till fragrant.
  3. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper then add them to skillet. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, for about 3 – 4 minutes.
  4. Add the heavy cream, and simmer. Reduce the heat and whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Blend the sauce with the cooked fettuccine and make certain it gets to every piece.
  6. Taste, add seasoning if necessary and serve hot with parsley.
