Pistachio Tiramisu is delicious twist on the traditional Italian dessert. The rich layers of mascarpone with crunchy pistachios and hint of coffee come together. This is a great treat to serve at any occasion such as birthday or family dinner.

Pistachio Tiramisu Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 CUP CHOPPED PISTACHIO
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • With just a 1/4 cup of added coffee liqueur (my choice being Kahlua ) as an option.
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Extra pistachios for garnish

Directions:

  1. Beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until you have stiff peaks in a mixing bowl.
  2. Fold in mascarpone cheese and pistachios.
  3. Pour the brewed coffee into a shallow dish and add the coffee liqueur.
  4. Lightly dip each ladyfinger in the coffee mixture.
  5. Place half of the ladyfingers on top to form a layer in the bottom of serving bowl.
  6. Layer half of the mascarpone mixture over ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  8. Chill, covered, at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, , dust lightly with cocoa powder and sprinkle more pistachios if desired.

Chill and serve your Pistachio Tiramisu. This lovely sweet treat is perfect for dinner parties, family gatherings or just a snug night at home. Sprinkle a few more pistachios on top for presentation.
