Frittata


Introduction


A frittata is such a staple…. just so simple; why would anyone not love it. Great for breakfast or brunch or even dinner. You can make it with JUST a few ingredients and is completely adaptable!

Why Make This Recipe


Frittata… because fritatta is faster than a banana stand! The perfect way to finish the leftover of your veggies and cheese. And let me tell you, it is a good-for-you option that even the whole family will love. This is also another great way to get everyone involved in the kitchen — making frittata.

How to Make Frittata


Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup of any vegetables, chopped (cubed bell peppers or onions are favourites/ and spinach for some healthy greens)
  • Sugarfree Pancakes 2 Ingredients1 cup shredded cheese, cheddar or feta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

Directions:

  1. Set your oven to 375 °F (190°C).
  2. Whisk the eggs, milk and salt/pepper in a bowl.
  3. In a medium oven-safe skillet heat, olive oil or butter over the burner.
  4. Place diced vegetables and allow to cook until softened.
  5. Add the egg mixture to vegetables, and let it cook for a few minutes or until edges have set.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. Place the skillet in oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until frittata is set and beginning to turn golden.
  8. Cool, slice and serve!
