Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 C Shredded cheese (sharp cheddar, or mozzarella)
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Prepare pasta according to package directions for al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until softened.
- Sauté fresh diced tomatoes (or 1 can of drained diced) in olive oil until they release their juices; about a minute or two, then add chicken broth and Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- In this skillet ,you add shredded chicken meat and cooked spaghetti to the pan until well blended.
- Spoon the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
