How to Make Beef Stir Fry


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 Cups Mixed Vegetables, e.g. Bell Peppers, Broccoli and Snap peas
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Directions:

  1. Meanwhile, in a large bowl mix together sliced beef strips with soy sauce, oyster sauce and cornstarch. Toss to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high approx.
  3. Sauté ginger and garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Place the beef in an heated skillet and brown it, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add mixed vegetables and cook until tender but still crisp (3-4minutes)
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve over cooked rice.
