Glow-in-the-dark candy popcorn bombs
Introduction
This was my first time trying them and I must say that they are perfect for a treat, if you made it with candy as the popcorn will already be sweet OR good over some soup reminiscing croutons which is quite similar to how Josh ate his. Glow-in-the-Dark Candy Popcorn BombsInstructions
Ingredients:
- 1 cup popcorn kernels
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Neon food coloring (Or Glow in the dark food powder)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Directions:
- Air pop or stovetop cook the popcorn kernels. Pop it up and pour into the big bowl.
- In a pan over medium flame, add sugar,butter and corn syrup. Stir until the butter melts.
- Boil the mixture while stirring regularly for approx 5 mins. Take off of stove and add baking soda and food color
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the popcorn and stir in.
- Form popcorn into bombs or balls, set on a parchment lined baking sheet
- Leave popcorn bombs to cool and firm. Top with some tzotziki, and you are ready for pizza night festivities.
