How to Make Pasta Pomodoro
Ingredients:
- 200g pasta ( spaghetti type)
- cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for serving
- Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Directions:
- Add the pasta to a pot of boiling salted water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat,the olive oil.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, then extends to 1 minute
- Put the cherry tomatoes and drizzle with salt and pepper Stir for 5 to 7 minutes, until the tomatoes are soft.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and mix until combined.
- Top with fresh basil leaves and grated parmesan cheese if desired, then serve immediately.
