How to Make Easy Chili
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 15-ounce can kidney fowl, depleted and flushed
- 15 oz) can black beans, well drained and rinsed
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
Directions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot (I use an enameled dutch oven) over medium heat, and brown ground beef.
- An hour in, mince onions and garlic, they will be lost if used whole. Saute the onion aboutᅠ 3 to 5 minutes or until you can see right through it
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, tomatoes, chili powder or cumin spice blend as well as salt and pepper.
- Add the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Lower the flame and let it simmer for atleast 20 minutes so that all of this comes together.
- Serve hot.
